Open Doors produces several print and digital prayer resources to help supporters to pray regularly for their persecuted family, including a daily prayer diary, weekly emails, bi-monthly Prayer News videos and the children\u2019s Prayer Passport. What a blessing to connect with the persecuted church in this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve also been instrumental in raising awareness of the plight of our persecuted family with those in power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, hundreds of you invite your MP to the World Watch List parliamentary launch \u2013 and it has an impact! In January 2023, 95 MPs attended the event in Parliament. As host, the Rt Hon. Stephen Timms MP said in his opening remarks, \u201cWhat always strikes me about the [Open Doors] launch is that lots and lots of MPs get contacted by their constituents who say, \u2018We really, really want you to come up to the launch of the annual World Watch List,\u2019 and, of course, having got that instruction, we all come! And it does reflect, I think, the very, very strong support that Open Doors has around the country \u2013 the deep, deep commitment of supporters of the organisation to its work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With seven countries from the World Watch List playing in last year\u2019s men\u2019s World Cup, the 2023 women\u2019s World Cup tournament offered a precious opportunity to pray for our persecuted family. It\u2019s one you seized, ordering around 5,000 World Cup wallcharts and other resources to help you pray for the persecuted church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
